Our history - Where we come from

We founded KryptoMine in 2021 as a small mining venture in our living room. As we quickly grew, we moved to a larger office space, designed and built our own rigs, and expanded the business. However, we soon realized that mining consumes a significant amount of energy, which led us to search for more efficient solutions.
We faced challenges when Nvidia tried to limit mining sales with blockage drivers, but we worked to develop workarounds. We even invented dual mining to create a partial (~80%) LHR unlock, which allowed us to circumvent LHR lock, documented in GitHub
To succeed in the future, we needed to move in a different direction. We developed hard drive mining cases and now focus on mining on HDD 100%. We are also investing resources into the Chia blockchain to bring new assets to the ecosystem. By contributing to the Chia network, we believe we can help it reach its full potential and increase adoption in various categories, such as NFTs, smart coins, and exchanges.

Who we are

The company is currently run by my Fiancée and me. So we are still a very small operation.

Julian Bechtold (Technical Lead, CEO)

As the founder of KryptoMine, I bring a diverse set of technical skills to the team. From an early age, I've been interested in technology and enjoyed tinkering with computers, webpages, scripting, programming, photography, 3D modeling, and video editing. While I've struggled with consistency and getting distracted by new ideas, I've developed strong problem-solving skills over time and learned to focus on what's important.

My fiancée serves as a trusted consultant to help me reality-check my ideas and stay on track. At KryptoMine, I am responsible for all technical aspects of the business, drawing on my experience and passion for technology to drive innovation and growth. I believe that technology has the power to change the world, and I'm excited to be part of a team that is working to advance the state of the art in the mining industry.

Where we stand

KryptoMine is in a transitional phase, shifting from mining to providing financial assets as a core business. Our priority is to find new paths and strategies to expand the crypto ecosystem and build the future. We strive to develop reliable, high-quality services at a fair price that benefit everyone.

While we plan to continue our mining operations, it is an established process for us that does not require much effort. We may make some improvements, but we don't believe that simply putting in more effort will expand or accelerate our progress. Our main constraint is our financial capability to order additional hardware.
We have already identified two key areas to start with in order to get our public business started:
  • Developing and launching financial assets (coins) in order to provide versatility, utility and services to the market
We started development of a financial asset manager which allows to invest into a coin which will develop simmilar to a market etf. Currently the software is beeing alpha-tested and beeing prepared for release.
  • Creating and sellindg Artworks (NFTs) in order to gain public visibility and fund our operations

We have started developing some NFTs of which you can see an example here. We are working on accomodating a sufficient amount of good quality image sets before release.

Where we go

Our vision for the future is to build up an ecosystem of several smart coins wich may interact and build on top of another. Some examples include:
  • Several ETF-like currencies which track different Crypto markets such as utility tokens, major blockchains, newcomers etc.
  • Several stable coins which will bring utility to the chia blockchain. Simmilar to the established, known coins tether etc.
The whole topic is still to be fleshed out as we focus on what is currently required rather than drafting large integration plans for the Future.
